Fratelli Perata Shrimp Baked with Garlic and Lemon
I’ve
read where Charbono does not pair with seafood. Glad I read that after
pairing 8 courses with Charbono, and here is another pairing yet.
Please trust yourself, close your eyes and see if a pairing works. This
one works for us, courtesy of daughter Joanne enjoying her new kitchen.
1 1/2 pound extra large sized shrimp, raw, peeled and deveined
1 cup day old bread crumbs
1/4 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
lemons for squeezing
Preheat
oven to 450 degrees while cleaning the shrimp. Combine all except
shrimp in large bowl. Place shrimp in oil 9 x 13 baking dish, top with
bread crumb mixture. Bake 10 minutes. Then remove and squeeze juice of
at least 1 lemon over the shrimp. Toss into hot serving dish, serve
with more lemon wedges.
