mushrooms, your choice, not too large buttons are fine
1/2 -cup butter
1/4-cup olive oil, doesn't have to be your best grade
3 Tablespoons garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste, around 1/2 teaspoon
Slice clean mushroom thinly and place in skillet with olive oil and butter. Saute over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are soft.
Softly stir in garlic, warm, and then add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over steak. Or even pasta. And, of course, a Tre Sorelle is always a good bet with mushrooms.
